All NDT activities carried out by SPAEROTECHNICS are governed by a rigorous quality management system, certified personnel qualifications, and internationally recognised approvals. Our certifications guarantee that every inspection meets or exceeds the standards required by regulatory bodies, OEMs, and airline operators worldwide.
EASA Part 145 - Maintenance Organisation Approval
SPAEROTECHNICS holds approval as a Part 145 Maintenance Organisation under EASA (European Union Aviation Safety Agency) regulations. This approval authorises us to perform non-destructive testing on aircraft, aircraft components, and associated structures in full compliance with Commission Regulation (EU) No 1321/2014.
Our Part 145 certificate covers NDT specialisations in ET, UT, and PT across the scope defined in our approved Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE).

EN 4179 / NAS 410 - Level II & III
All inspection personnel at SPAEROTECHNICS are qualified in accordance with EN 4179 (European aerospace standard) and its technically equivalent counterpart NAS 410 (National Aerospace Standard), the recognised benchmarks for NDT personnel certification in the aerospace industry.
Qualification levels define the scope of authority:
Level II
Authorised to set up and calibrate equipment, perform inspections, and interpret and evaluate results in accordance with written procedures. Able to instruct and supervise Level I personnel.
Level III
Responsible for technique development, procedure preparation and approval, direction of the NDT programme. Full interpretive authority and examiner status for Level I and II certification.

Equipment Calibration & Traceability
All inspection instruments used by SPAEROTECHNICS are subject to periodic calibration against national and international metrology standards, with full traceability to SI units. Calibration certificates are maintained in our document control system and are available for customer review on request.
Reference standards (calibration blocks, reference samples) are manufactured and qualified to applicable OEM and ASTM/EN requirements, with unique identification and expiry control.

- Reference blocks traceable to ASTM E127 / E428 / E1158
- UV-A illuminance and white light intensity verified per EN 3452
- Full calibration record retention - minimum 10 years
Reference Documentation
SPAEROTECHNICS operates against a comprehensive library of current-issue standards, specifications, and OEM documentation. Our Quality Manager maintains a controlled master document list, ensuring no expired or superseded procedures are used in active inspections.
